ReadyForIT: the value of inclusion and training in building the future of IT
Alascom has joined the ReadyForIT Refugees & Migrants project and took part in the certificate award ceremony held at The Human Safety Net headquarters in Venice. The event celebrated the completion of the training programme by 57 young refugees, now ready to begin their professional journey in the IT sector.
ReadyForIT is a programme promoted by Fondazione Italiana Accenture that combines specialised training, the development of digital skills, and support for job integration. It is an initiative that creates real opportunities and connects motivated young people with technology companies willing to invest in their potential.
Alascom’s choice: investing in skills, people, and inclusion
During the event, students had the opportunity to meet several companies and introduce themselves directly to recruiters.
Among these companies was Alascom, which chose to support the project in a concrete way by integrating some of the programme participants into its team.
The first weeks of onboarding confirm that this was a valuable choice—both from a human and professional perspective.
